Things have been really hard in some ways since moving to Moorhead. Mainly, I've adopted a newfound seething hatred for people. Girls, mostly, and for reasons obvious to anyone who knows me and has spoken with me lately. Because of this, I've had an odd need to sincerely thank anyone who conducts themselves as a moral human being. I've been so grateful these few times, merely because someone in this god forsaken place didn't act like a monster for 5 minutes out of their day.

Nick and Janet - or Jannik, as I refer to you behind your backs - even though I don't know you that well, and haven't known you that long, thank you for being who you are. You have no idea how much your friendship has meant to me, and how much it has helped me through this time.

I feel like I've been doing a lot 'better' lately. Meaning, the rage inside me has lessened, and I don't hate people quite as much. I don't think I will ever 'get over it' entirely, because it's been a part of me since I was able crawl. The things people think they can do without regard to anyone else have always shocked and disgusted me, and I just don't know if I'll ever get used to it.

That is why - if I don't know you, if you're some friend of a friend of a friend, don't 'add' me or whatever it is you do here on DA. Please, let me keep my sanity and you some semblance of honor. I'm not here to be your friend. Chances are, I don't like you and don't want to even give you a chance. I only have room for honesty in the world I shape for myself, so if you think me harsh, know that nothing is ever that simple. Know that you don't know me. That being said, thank you leaving me in peace.
